Sigma Joins FReSH Program
January 19, 2017
On January 18th, at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, 25 leading global companies announced their collaborative commitment to accelerating transformational change in global food systems. WBCSD and the EAT Foundation are launching a new partnership to transform global food systems: Food Reform for Sustainability and Health (FReSH). FReSH consists of over 20 global companies including Sigma Alimentos, working to ensure healthy, enjoyable diets for all – each produced within planetary boundaries. FReSH is a collaboration between science and business; where premier research institutions provide knowledge and data, and business uses this to develop successful, high-impact solutions. It aims to solve a number of health, socio-economic and environmental challenges across the three value chain stages – production, supply chain and consumption.
